The client is a well-established, growing business where finance sits at the centre of decision-making. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll act as the go-to person across all things finance; providing insight, challenge, and support to drive the business forward.

This is more than a traditional accounting role. It’s a hands-on, commercially focused position where you’ll have real influence across the business.

What you’ll be doing

• Overseeing monthly management accounts, reporting, and financial performance
• Providing insight on risks, opportunities, and business performance
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management
• Acting as a key commercial partner to the CEO and wider team
• Supporting tenders, pricing, and contract reviews when required
• Taking ownership of financial processes, systems, and improvements
• Leading and supporting a small admin/operations function

What we’re looking for

• Strong all-round finance capability (management accounting / commercial finance)
• CA preferred but not essential
• Able to interpret financials and explain them clearly to non-finance stakeholders
• Confident to challenge and push back when needed
• Detail-oriented, with a strong commercial mindset
• Self-sufficient and comfortable working in a small team environment
