About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Commercial Manager to lead commercial strategy and governance across a significant infrastructure portfolio. This senior leadership role will be responsible for driving commercial performance, managing contractual risk and ensuring value is delivered throughout the project lifecycle.
You will work closely with executive stakeholders, project directors and delivery teams to influence strategic decisions and optimise commercial outcomes across major capital programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead commercial strategy across large-scale infrastructure projects and programs
• Provide executive-level advice on commercial, contractual and procurement matters
• Drive commercial governance, compliance and risk management frameworks
• Lead complex negotiations with contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
• Manage commercial performance, forecasting and reporting
• Support dispute resolution and claims management activities
• Mentor and develop commercial team members
• Identify opportunities to improve value, efficiency and project outcomes

About You

• Significant experience in commercial leadership roles within infrastructure, construction, utilities or major projects
• Proven track record managing large and complex commercial portfolios
• Strong expertise in contract administration, procurement and risk management
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
• Strategic mindset with strong commercial judgement
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
