The Role

This is not a delivery management role.

You’ll lead technical direction across the platform while staying close to architecture, systems design, and engineering capability. You’ll work closely with the founder, executive team, product leaders, and engineering teams to shape both immediate delivery and long-term technical strategy.

What You’ll Work On

• Lead architecture decisions across platform and product systems
• Drive strategy across scalability, reliability, security, and developer experience
• Shape how AI is integrated into engineering workflows and product capability
• Improve delivery practices, technical quality, and cross-functional collaboration
• Partner with product and leadership on priorities and technical trade-offs
• Coach senior engineers while maintaining strong technical credibility
• Manage technical debt strategically while helping teams move quickly and safely
• Help define a modern engineering culture in an AI-enabled environment

About You

You’ve built systems from the ground up, scaled platforms, and made difficult technical calls. You’re honest about what worked, what didn’t, and what you learned along the way.

You still enjoy being close to the technology. You care about strong architecture, good engineering judgement, and helping teams do their best work.

You’ll likely bring experience across several of the following:

• Scaling modern cloud-based platforms
• Leading engineering teams while staying technically hands‑on
• Architecture and system design
• Balancing speed with long‑term technical thinking
• AI‑assisted development workflows or AI‑enabled products
• Modern engineering practices across platform and infrastructure
• Influencing stakeholders in fast‑moving environments
