About the role

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Handyman/Maintenance Officer to join our team on a Full-Time basis at our St Charbel's Care Centre aged care home located in Punchbowl.

Responsibilities include: 

• Reactive maintenance

• Preventative Maintenance Schedule

• Handyman / Maintenance duties such as painting, cleaning, installation, assembly and minor plumbing 

You will report to the Residential Manager and work closely with the Property Manager and General Manager, who will direct you to specific tasks as needed from time to time.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in Maintenance / Handyman work

• Driver licence

• Working rights in Australia

Qualifications preferred but not essential

• White card

• Trade licence

• Handyman with experience in Aged Care, Health or Hospitality

• Comfortable using basic technology to complete maintenance records and communicate effectively with the team (training will be provided)
