Enframe Architecture is looking for an experienced Senior Architectural Designer to join our growing studio and play a key role in delivering thoughtfully considered architecture projects across NSW.

Based in our newly completed studio in Oatley, Enframe is an emerging architectural practice focused on creating highly resolved, personal, and enduring spaces. We work across a diverse range of projects including bespoke residential homes, alterations and additions, multi-residential developments, seniors living, specialist accommodation, and complex approval pathways.

As our studio continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced architectural professional who is ready to take ownership of projects, lead teams, and contribute to the continued evolution of our practice.

The Role

This is a senior position suited to someone who enjoys seeing projects through from initial ideas to built outcomes.

Working closely with the Director and senior leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of projects across all stages, from early design and authority approvals through to construction documentation and completion.

You will lead project coordination, guide internal team members, resolve complex design and technical challenges, and ensure our projects maintain the level of quality and care that defines Enframe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage multiple architectural projects across Class 1, Class 2, and Class 3 developments

  • Drive project delivery from commencement through to completion

  • Develop and resolve architectural design outcomes

  • Lead documentation packages across DA, CDC, CC, tender, and construction stages

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

  • Review documentation for quality, compliance, and coordination

  • Assist in improving studio systems, workflows, and project delivery processes

About You

You are an experienced architectural professional who enjoys taking responsibility, solving problems, and helping others produce great work.

You will ideally have:

  • 10+ years' experience in architectural practice within Australia

  • 7+ years' experience leading projects and coordinating teams

  • Strong Revit capability (5+ years preferred)

  • Experience delivering multi-residential, Class 2 and/or Class 3 projects

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience specifically with Class 2 and/or Class 3 project delivery

  • Strong understanding of the NCC, Australian Standards, and approval processes

  • Experience coordinating consultants and construction documentation

  • Ability to communicate confidently with clients, builders, and consultants

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality documentation

  • SDA, Class 2, or specialist accommodation experience (desirable)

  • Australian citizenship is required for this position

Architectural registration is not required for this position.

Why Join Enframe?

At Enframe, you will not be another number within a large organisation. You will have genuine influence over projects, processes, and the direction of the studio.

You will be joining at an exciting stage of growth, with the opportunity to:

  • Work from our purpose-designed new architectural studio in Oatley

  • Lead a diverse range of meaningful residential projects

  • Work directly with decision-makers

  • See your projects progress from concept through to construction

  • Mentor and support a growing team

  • Help shape the future systems, culture, and design approach of the practice

We value thoughtful design, technical excellence, collaboration, and people who take pride in creating architecture that genuinely improves the way people live.

If you are an experienced architectural professional looking for your next long-term opportunity, we would love to hear from you.
