The Role

This is a newly created Fund Accountant position within the corporate finance team. You will be responsible for managing the funds’ financial and performance reporting. More specifically, this will be:

• Fund accounting, including journals, accruals and reconciliations across all fund entities.
• Prepare periodic fund accounts, NAV statements and fund performance metrics.
• Preparing fund information for external auditors and supporting the audit process.
• Preparing tax information for review by tax advisers and supporting the distribution of annual tax statements.
• Maintain robust, documented and compliant financial and administrative processes for each aspect of your role and responsibilities.

Your Background

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• 3+ years of working experience in a similar role as a Fund Accountant, Fund Administrator or Investment Accountant.
• An Accounting or Finance Degree with good academic grades.
• Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude to learn and adapt.
• Hold permanent working rights (Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship).
