Austbrokers has a fantastic new opportunity for a Revenue Accountant available on a permanent basis.  Austbrokers is a part of the AUB Group, and the revenue team is responsible for the insurance accounting functions for various Austbrokers Members.  We use the CBS and Aurora systems.

The AMS Revenue team are responsible for the following: -

• Payment receipting which includes, BPAY uploads, credit cards and direct deposits

• Daily and monthly Bank Reconciliation

• Filing documentation

• Payments to Insurers, Clients, Third-party Brokers, and referrers

• General and sub ledger journals

• Liaising with Insurers through email and telephone

• Audit review – preparing documentation

• Rolling end of month/year on the broking system

We are seeking someone with good numeracy and reconciliation skills as well as proven attention to detail with accuracy and figures.

Additionally, we are looking for someone has:

• Intermediate/Advanced skills in MS Excel/Word/Outlook,

• Exemplary organisational skills, able to identity priorities and meet competing deadlines.

• Good knowledge of accounting, analysis and administrative procedures.

• The capability to construct and write emails as well as communicating effectively on the phone.
