We're partnering with a well-established organisation with a sizeable workforce, multiple payroll frequencies and a payroll function that sits at the heart of the business.
 
Due to continued growth and increasing demands on the team, we're looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist who enjoys complexity, ownership and being the person others rely on.
 
You'll join a collaborative payroll team responsible for supporting employees across Australia and New Zealand while working closely with HR, Finance and operational stakeholders.
 
What you'll be doing:

• End-to-end payroll processing across weekly and fortnightly payrolls
• Managing complex payroll queries and employee requests
• Processing terminations, adjustments and manual payments
• Supporting month-end activities, reconciliations and reporting
• Payroll tax, superannuation and statutory compliance obligations
• Award and Enterprise Agreement interpretation
• Payroll analysis and reporting using Excel
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance

What we're looking for:

• Strong end-to-end payroll experience within a medium to large organisation
• Previous experience working with iChris / Chris21
• Solid understanding of Awards, Enterprise Agreements and payroll legislation
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and payroll reporting
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability
• A team-first attitude and willingness to support others
